About the Konishi KF8637
The Konishi KF8637 is a men's metal frame made from titanium and fitted with spring hinges. The titanium construction keeps the frame lightweight while providing durability.
This frame measures 57-19-135 mm with a lens height of 34 mm. The 57 mm lens width is wide, which suits larger faces, while the 19 mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 135 mm temples are short compared to standard lengths, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to your head.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KF8637?
It comes in one size, 57-19-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KF8637 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 34 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
