About the IZOD 2131
The IZOD 2131 is a men's full rim frame made from TR-90 material and fitted with spring hinges. This construction suits men seeking a durable everyday frame.
This frame comes in one size: 57-15-145 mm with a lens height of 36 mm. The 57 mm lens width is wide, while the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, meaning the frame sits closer at the nose than most glasses with lenses this wide. The 145 mm temples are standard length.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 2131?
It comes in one size, 57-15-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 2131 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 36 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
