About the Times Square CAPTAIN
The Times Square CAPTAIN is a square-shaped, full rim frame with spring hinges. This unisex design works for those who prefer structured, angular frames with the added comfort of flexible temples.
This frame measures 56-16-145: a wide 56mm lens width, a 16mm bridge that's average for this lens width, and a standard 145mm temple length. The wide lenses provide more coverage than typical medium frames, while the average bridge sits normally on most nose widths. Compare these measurements to your current glasses to determine fit.

Which size is the CAPTAIN?
It comes in one size, 56-16-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the CAPTAIN good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
