About the IZOD 2144

The IZOD 2144 is a full rim acetate frame designed for men, equipped with spring hinges for flexibility and durability. This frame works well for those who prefer substantial eyewear with a bold presence.

This frame comes in one size: 59-16-150, with a lens height of 41mm. The 59mm lens width is very wide, and the 16mm bridge is average for this lens width, while the 150mm temples are long. If your current glasses feel too narrow across the front or the temples don't extend far enough, this frame offers more coverage.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 2144?

It comes in one size, 59-16-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 57–61 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 2144 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 41 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
