About the STEVE MADDEN JARRIS
The STEVE MADDEN JARRIS is a full rim acetate frame designed for kids, equipped with spring hinges for flexibility and durability. The acetate construction provides a lightweight feel suitable for younger wearers.
This frame comes in two sizes: 49-15-135 with a lens height of 34 mm, and 51-15-135 with a lens height of 34 mm. The lens width of 49mm to 51mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width and the 135mm temples are short. Compared to glasses you may already own, these will fit a smaller face with a lower nose bridge and sit closer to the sides of the head.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 49 or 51?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 48–50 mm take the 49; if it is 50–52 mm take the 51.
Is the JARRIS good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 34 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
