About the STEVE MADDEN TESSA
The STEVE MADDEN TESSA is a full rim metal frame designed for women. The frame includes spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 53-17-135 mm with a lens height of 42 mm. The 53 mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 135 mm temples are short compared to standard length, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit differently on your ears.

Which size is the TESSA?
It comes in one size, 53-17-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the TESSA good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
