About the Tuscany 790

The Tuscany 790 is a men's full rim plastic frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens support and durability for everyday wear.

This frame measures 51-22-145 (lens width 51mm, bridge 22mm, temple 145mm). The 51mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 22mm bridge is wide for this lens width, meaning the frame sits farther from your face than most glasses with 51mm lenses. The 145mm temples are standard length.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 790?

It comes in one size, 51-22-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 790 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
