About the Bocci Eyewear 142
The Bocci Eyewear 142 is a full rim plastic frame designed for women. Spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples for a more forgiving fit.
This frame comes in two sizes: 51-17-135 and 53-17-140, where the numbers indicate lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. The 51mm to 53mm lens width offers a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your frames are a regular width with an average bridge.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the 142 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
