About the Smilen Elite 7
The Smilen Elite 7 is a women's rectangular frame made from acetate with a full rim design. The rectangle shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 55-17-140, with a lens height of 41 mm. The 55 mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will tell you how this frame differs from your current pair.

Which size is the 7?
It comes in one size, 55-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 7 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
