How the RY1549 fits
At 46mm to 50mm lens width, the Ray-Ban RY1549 sits on the narrow side of regular and is sized for children's faces. This width is noticeably smaller than standard adult frames, which typically start at 50mm.
The full-rim construction provides enough vertical lens height to accommodate single-vision prescriptions comfortably. Progressive lenses are not applicable for this frame, as it is designed for children.
The 125mm temples are short, appropriate for smaller head sizes. This frame does not suit adults or teens with larger facial dimensions.
Premium Prescription Lens Options
OmniLux® NAL® (Next-Gen No-Line Multifocal lenses, exclusive at BestNewGlasses.com)
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
