The Flexon E1042 is a semi-rimless rectangle frame made from a combination of metal and plastic. The rectangular shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, providing structure and definition.
This frame comes in one size: 54-17-140, with a lens height of 33mm. The 54mm lens width offers a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. Is the E1042 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 33 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What does semi-rimless mean?
A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
