About the Konishi KF8491
The Konishi KF8491 is a men's rectangular frame made from titanium metal in a full rim construction. The rectangular shape and metal material create a structured, professional appearance suited to men seeking classic frame styling.
This frame measures 56-19-140: a wide 56mm lens width, a 19mm bridge that's average for this lens size, and a standard 140mm temple length. The wide lens width means this frame works for those who typically need larger glasses, while the average bridge provides a conventional fit across the nose. Compare these measurements to your current glasses to determine if this frame will fit similarly or differently.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KF8491?
It comes in one size, 56-19-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KF8491 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the KF8491 come in?
It is offered in 2 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
