About the Capri PT100

The Capri PT100 is a rectangle-shaped metal frame with a full rim design. The spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples, and the unisex styling works for a range of face shapes.

This frame comes in two sizes: 51-16-140 with a lens height of 31 mm, and 54-16-145 with a lens height of 34 mm. The lens widths of 51 mm to 54 mm offer a regular fit, while the 16 mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of your temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 54?

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.

Is the PT100 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 31 mm in the 51 and 34 mm in the 54. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
