About the Konishi KF8384
The Konishi KF8384 is a men's rectangular frame with a full rim design and spring hinges for flexible wear. The rectangular shape provides structured, angular lines that complement oval, round, and heart-shaped faces.
This frame measures 56-17-145: a wide 56mm lens width, a 17mm bridge that's average for this lens size, and a standard 145mm temple length. The wide lens width makes these larger than average glasses, suitable if your current frames feel small across your face. The average bridge spacing works for most nose widths when paired with this lens size.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KF8384?
It comes in one size, 56-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KF8384 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
