About the Ray-Ban RB5228
The Ray-Ban RB5228 is a square-shaped frame made from acetate plastic with a full rim design. The square shape works well for those with round or oval faces, providing angular contrast. These are unisex frames with regular hinges.
This frame comes in two sizes: 50-17-140 with a 35mm lens height, and 53-17-140 with a 37mm lens height. The lens width of 50mm to 53mm provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 50 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the RB5228 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 35 mm in the 50 and 37 mm in the 53. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5228 and RB5228?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.

Love these frames, it’s my second pair in a different color. The new lens option that helps with the indoor lighting glare and glare from the computer screen is really nice. All of that at half the price or less than the local eye doctor.

I got the omnilux lenses(better version of progressive ). I would definitely order from this company again.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
