The Perry Ellis PE453 is a square-shaped, full rim frame designed for men. The square shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, providing angular definition. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.
This frame measures 56-17-140 mm, with a lens width of 56 mm (wide), a bridge width of 17 mm (average for this lens width), and temple arms of 140 mm (standard length). The wide 56 mm lens width means these glasses will cover more of your face horizontally than narrower frames. It comes in one size, 56-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the PE453 good for progressive lenses?

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
