About the Ray-Ban RB5169
The Ray-Ban RB5169 is a full-rim rectangular frame with spring hinges. The rectangular shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes, and the unisex design accommodates a range of wearers.
This frame comes in two sizes: 52-16-140 and 54-16-140, where the numbers indicate lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. The 52mm and 54mm lens widths provide a regular fit, while the 16mm bridge is average for these lens sizes. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 52 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.
Is the RB5169 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What is the difference between RX5169 and RB5169?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
