About the Konishi KA5936

The Konishi KA5936 is a full rim frame designed for women. Spring hinges provide flexibility and durability for everyday wear.

This frame measures 52-17-140 (lens width 52mm, bridge 17mm, temple 140mm). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens size. Compare these measurements to a pair of glasses that fits you well to determine whether this frame will work for you.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KA5936?

It comes in one size, 52-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KA5936 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
