About the Ray-Ban RB5422
The RB5422 is a women's cat-eye in acetate with gently lifted outer corners and a full rim. It is a refined, wearable take on the cat-eye, with plenty of color choice. The engraved code is RB5422 and the catalogue code is RX5422; both refer to this frame.
Two sizes are offered: 52-16-140 (lens height 41 mm) and 54-16-145 (42 mm). The 16 mm bridge is average for this lens size. Colors include black on transparent, Havana on transparent, blues, reds and pinks, and Havana turtle finishes.

Which size should I choose, 52 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52 (140 mm temples); if it is 53–55 mm take the 54 (145 mm temples).
Is the RB5422 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Lens heights of 41–42 mm are above the roughly 30 mm that labs ask for, so all three vision zones fit comfortably.
What is acetate?
Acetate is a lightweight, durable plastic that holds rich, layered colors such as the transparent and Havana finishes on this frame.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
