About the Affordable Designs JD
The Affordable Designs JD is a men's full-rim modified oval frame in metal and plastic with spring hinges. It is a large frame with a softened shape. Colors: Black Gold, Black Silver Crystal and Light Gunmetal.
It comes in one size, 57-20-150 with a lens height of 43.6 mm. The 57 mm width and 150 mm temples suit a medium to large head.

Which size is the JD?
It comes in one size, 57-20-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JD good for progressive lenses?
Yes. A lens height of 43.6 mm is above the roughly 30 mm that labs ask for, so distance, intermediate and reading zones all fit.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
