About the Affordable Designs JEWEL
The Affordable Designs JEWEL is a full rim cat eye frame designed for women. The cat eye shape features upswept outer corners that complement angular and heart-shaped faces. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort.
This frame comes in one size: 52-20-140 (lens width 52mm, bridge 20mm, temple 140mm). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, suitable for small to medium faces. The 20mm bridge is wide for this lens width, which means the frame will sit farther from your cheeks and works well if the glasses you currently wear pinch at the nose.

Which size is the JEWEL?
It comes in one size, 52-20-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JEWEL good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
