The Affordable Designs KIRK is a square-shaped men's frame made from plastic in a full rim construction. The frame includes spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.

This frame comes in one size: 53-20-145, with a lens height of 41mm. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 20mm bridge is wide for this lens width, sitting farther from the nose than typical frames with 53mm lenses. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Is the KIRK good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 41 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
