About the BCBGMAXAZRIA AGATHA
The BCBGMAXAZRIA AGATHA is a full rim women's frame made from TR-90 material and fitted with spring hinges. The full rim design provides complete lens enclosure and durability for everyday wear.
This frame comes in one size: 53-15-140 mm, with a lens height of 39 mm. The 53 mm lens width offers a regular fit, while the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, sitting closer on the nose than many frames with 53 mm lenses. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the AGATHA?
It comes in one size, 53-15-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the AGATHA good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
