About the BCBGMAXAZRIA BRUNY
The BCBGMAXAZRIA BRUNY is a women's full rim acetate frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for improved comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 54-16-140 mm, with a lens height of 44 mm. The 54 mm lens width is a regular fit, and the 16 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the BRUNY?
It comes in one size, 54-16-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the BRUNY good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 44 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
