About the BCBGMAXAZRIA ELETTRA
The BCBGMAXAZRIA ELETTRA is a women's full rim acetate frame with spring hinges. The acetate construction provides durability, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and fit adjustment.
This frame comes in one size: 48-15-130, with a lens height of 38 mm. The 48 mm lens width is narrow, and the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, meaning this frame works best for faces with closely-set eyes and a slim nose. The 130 mm temples are short compared to standard lengths. If your current glasses have larger measurements than these, this frame will fit smaller on your face.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the ELETTRA?
It comes in one size, 48-15-130. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 46–50 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the ELETTRA good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 38 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
