About the Bocci Eyewear 454
The Bocci Eyewear 454 is a full rim plastic frame designed for kids, equipped with spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for durability and comfort during active wear. The full rim construction provides complete lens support in a sturdy design.
This frame measures 47-17-135: a narrow 47mm lens width, a 17mm bridge that's average for this lens size, and short 135mm temples. The narrow lens width means these glasses suit smaller faces, while the average bridge provides standard spacing across the nose. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these will be smaller in lens width than most adult frames.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 454?
It comes in one size, 47-17-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 45–49 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 454 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
