About the Capri GR801

The Capri GR801 is a rectangle-shaped metal frame with a full rim design. The spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples, and the unisex styling works for a range of face shapes.

This frame comes in one size: 59-18-150, with a lens height of 36mm. The 59mm lens width is very wide, and the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width, while the 150mm temples are long. If your current glasses have smaller lenses or shorter temples, these will feel noticeably larger and extend further along the sides of your head.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the GR801?

It comes in one size, 59-18-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 57–61 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the GR801 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 36 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
