About the Capri PeachTree PT215
The Capri PeachTree PT215 is a men's full rim metal frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for improved comfort and durability.
This frame measures 56-19-145: the 56mm lens width is wide, the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 145mm temple length is standard. The wide lens width means this frame will fit larger faces better than smaller ones. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of your temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the PT215?
It comes in one size, 56-19-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the PT215 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
