About the 4U U204
The 4U U204 is a cat eye frame made from plastic with a full rim design and regular hinges. This unisex style suits those who prefer the distinctive upswept shape of a cat eye frame.
Available in two sizes: 52-16-135 with a lens height of 36 mm, and 55-16-140 with a lens height of 39 mm. The lens width of 52 mm to 55 mm provides a regular fit, while the 16 mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. The temple length of 135 mm is short compared to standard glasses, which typically have temples around 140-145 mm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 52 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the U204 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 36 mm in the 52 and 39 mm in the 55. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the U204 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
