About the 4U US85

The 4U US85 is a full rim unisex frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.

This frame measures 52-19-140 (lens width 52mm, bridge 19mm, temple 140mm). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the US85?

It comes in one size, 52-19-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the US85 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
