About the CAT 3010
The CAT 3010 is a men's rectangular frame with a semi-rimless design and regular hinges. The rectangular shape provides structured, angular lines that suit those who prefer a defined look.
This frame measures 61-18-150: the lens width is 61mm (very wide), the bridge is 18mm (average for this lens width), and the temples are 150mm (long). The very wide lenses accommodate larger faces, while the average bridge provides standard nose spacing for frames of this size. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 3010?
It comes in one size, 61-18-150. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 59–63 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 3010 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What does semi-rimless mean?
A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
