About the Coach HC6257U
The Coach HC6257U is a square-shaped frame made from acetate plastic with full rims. This women's frame has regular hinges and suits those who prefer structured, angular eyewear.
This frame comes in two sizes: 49-18-140 with a 36mm lens height, and 51-18-140 with a 38mm lens height. The lens width of 49mm to 51mm is on the narrow side of regular, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width and the 140mm temple length is standard. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 49 or 51?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 48–50 mm take the 49; if it is 50–52 mm take the 51.
Is the HC6257U good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 36 mm in the 49 and 38 mm in the 51. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the HC6257U come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
