How the DG5031 fits
At 51mm the Dolce&Gabbana DG5031 sits on the narrow side of regular width. This lens width is about 2mm smaller than the most common 53mm frames, making it better suited to small to medium faces.
The 45mm lens height is deep and provides substantial vertical coverage. This measurement offers plenty of room for progressive lens designs, with ample space for distance, intermediate, and reading zones.
The phantos shape in nylon construction works well on oval and heart-shaped faces where the rounded curves complement natural contours. This shape tends not to suit very angular or square faces, where the soft curves can create unflattering contrast.
