About the Flexon BENJAMIN
The Flexon BENJAMIN is a men's rectangular frame made from Flexon metal in a full rim design. The rectangular shape provides structured, angular lines that complement oval, round, and heart-shaped faces.
This frame comes in two sizes: 54-18-140 with a 37mm lens height, and 56-18-145 with a 38mm lens height. The lens width of 54mm to 56mm is wide, while the 18mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will show you how the BENJAMIN will differ in width and length.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 54 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the BENJAMIN good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 37 mm in the 54 and 38 mm in the 56. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the BENJAMIN come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
