About the Flexon ZEUS
The Flexon ZEUS is a full rim rectangle frame made from Flexon metal, designed for kids. The rectangular shape provides structured, classic styling in a durable metal construction.
This frame comes in two sizes: 49-18-135 with a lens height of 30 mm, and 51-18-140 with a lens height of 31 mm. The lens width of 49 mm to 51 mm is on the narrow side of regular, while the 18 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these frames will have a noticeably shorter temple length at 135 mm to 140 mm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 49 or 51?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 48–50 mm take the 49; if it is 50–52 mm take the 51.
Is the ZEUS good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 30 mm in the 49 and 31 mm in the 51. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the ZEUS come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
