About the IZOD 2119
The IZOD 2119 is a men's full rim frame made from TR-90 material and equipped with spring hinges. This construction provides flexibility and durability suitable for daily wear.
This frame measures 48-16-145 mm with a lens height of 39 mm. The 48 mm lens width is narrow, which works for smaller faces, while the 16 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 2119?
It comes in one size, 48-16-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 46–50 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 2119 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
