About the Jill Stuart JS473
The Jill Stuart JS473 is a women's oval metal frame with a full rim design. The oval shape works well for angular or square face shapes by adding softer curves. Spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples for improved comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 52-18-140, with a lens height of 44 mm. The 52 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 18 mm bridge is average for this lens width and the 140 mm temples are standard length. If your current glasses have lenses wider than 52 mm, these will feel smaller on your face.

Which size is the JS473?
It comes in one size, 52-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JS473 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 44 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
