About the Konishi KA5729

The Konishi KA5729 is a men's rectangular frame made from TR-90 plastic with a full rim design. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added durability and comfort during wear.

This frame measures 56-14-142: a wide 56mm lens width, a narrow 14mm bridge, and a standard 142mm temple length. The wide lenses provide substantial coverage, while the narrow bridge sits closer at the nose than typical for this lens size. Compare these measurements to your current glasses to determine fit.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KA5729?

It comes in one size, 56-14-142. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KA5729 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
