About the Konishi KS1704
The Konishi KS1704 is a women's irregular-shaped frame made from stainless steel metal in a full rim construction. The irregular shape offers a distinctive alternative to standard frame silhouettes and works well for those seeking a less conventional look.
This frame comes in one size: 52-18-140 mm, with a lens height of 44 mm. The 52 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 18 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will tell you how this frame differs in width and length.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KS1704?
It comes in one size, 52-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KS1704 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 44 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the KS1704 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
