About the LaVie Eyewear LAVIE2144
The LaVie Eyewear LAVIE2144 is a full rim cat eye frame designed for women. The cat eye shape features upswept outer corners that add width to the upper portion of the frame.
This frame measures 53-17-140: the lenses are 53mm wide, the bridge is 17mm, and the temples are 140mm long. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. Compare these measurements to a pair of glasses that fits you well to determine whether this frame will work for you.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the LAVIE2144?
It comes in one size, 53-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the LAVIE2144 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the LAVIE2144 come in?
It is offered in 2 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
