The Lacoste L2298 is a men's rectangular metal frame with a full rim design. The frame includes spring hinges for flexibility and durability during daily wear.

This frame comes in two sizes: 54-17-145 with a lens height of 37mm, and 56-17-145 with a lens height of 38mm. The lens width of 54mm to 56mm is wide, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 145mm temples are standard length. If your current glasses have lenses narrower than 54mm, these will feel noticeably wider across your face.

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.

Is the L2298 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 37 mm in the 54 and 38 mm in the 56. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
