About the Lacoste L2984
The Lacoste L2984 is a women's square-shaped frame made from plastic with a full-rim construction and regular hinges. The square shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes who want to add definition and structure.
This frame comes in one size: 53mm lens width, 15mm bridge, and 140mm temples, with a lens height of 42mm. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit for most faces, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, sitting closer on the nose than many frames with 53mm lenses. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the L2984?
It comes in one size, 53-15-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the L2984 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the L2984 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
