About the Lacoste L2992
The Lacoste L2992 is a square-shaped men's frame with full rims made from BIO INJ-G850 plastic. The frame includes spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for added durability and comfort.
This frame comes in two sizes: 53-17-145 with a 40mm lens height, and 56-17-145 with a 42mm lens height. The 53mm to 56mm lens width is wide, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 145mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 53 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the L2992 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm in the 53 and 42 mm in the 56. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
