About the Lacoste L2989
The Lacoste L2989 is a men's square frame made from plastic with a full rim design. The frame features spring hinges for flexibility and durability.
This frame comes in two sizes: 55-15-140 with a lens height of 48mm, and 58-15-145 with a lens height of 50mm. The lens width measures wide at 55mm to 58mm, while the 15mm bridge runs narrow for frames of this lens width, which means it will sit closer on the nose than other glasses you may own with similar lens widths. The temple length is standard at 140mm.

Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 55 or 58?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 54–56 mm take the 55; if it is 57–59 mm take the 58.
Is the L2989 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 48 mm in the 55 and 50 mm in the 58. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
