About the Lite Designs LD1017

The Lite Designs LD1017 is a full rim frame designed for men. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.

This frame comes in one size: 52-18-140mm (lens width, bridge width, temple length). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. If your current glasses have a lens width of 50-54mm, this frame should fit similarly.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the LD1017?

It comes in one size, 52-18-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the LD1017 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
