The Michael Kors MK4183U is a square-shaped women's frame made from injected material with full rims surrounding the lenses. The square shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes.
This frame comes in two sizes: 51-16-135 with a 39mm lens height, and 53-16-140 with a 40mm lens height. The lens width of 51mm to 53mm provides a regular fit, while the 16mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. The temple length measures on the short side at 135mm, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to your head.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the MK4183U good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 39 mm in the 51 and 40 mm in the 53. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
