About the New Balance NB4087
The New Balance NB4087 is a men's rectangular frame with a full rim construction and regular hinges. The rectangular shape works well for those with round or oval face shapes looking for structured, angular lines.
This frame comes in one size: 51-19-140, where 51mm is the lens width, 19mm is the bridge width, and 140mm is the temple length. The 51mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, suitable for small to medium faces, while the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the NB4087?
It comes in one size, 51-19-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the NB4087 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the NB4087 come in?
It is offered in 3 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
