About the O'NEILL-CHICA
The O'NEILL-CHICA is a full rim frame with spring hinges. This unisex design works for adults seeking a smaller frame.
The measurements are 47-16-130: a narrow 47mm lens width, an average 16mm bridge for this lens size, and short 130mm temples. The narrow lens width means this frame is smaller than standard glasses, so compare the measurements to a pair you currently own to confirm the fit.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the O'NEILL-CHICA?
It comes in one size, 47-16-130. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 45–49 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the O'NEILL-CHICA good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
