About the Perry Ellis PE539
The Perry Ellis PE539 is a men's frame designed with a regular lens width that works well for average-width faces. This frame follows conventional proportions that suit men seeking a standard eyewear profile.
The measurements are 53mm lens width, 17mm bridge, and 145mm temples. The 53mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your current frames fit comfortably.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the PE539?
It comes in one size, 53-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the PE539 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What colors does the PE539 come in?
It is offered in 2 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
