About the Perry Ellis PE541
The Perry Ellis PE541 is a men's frame with a 56mm lens width, making it a wide style. This larger lens size suits men with broader faces who need more coverage and a proportional look.
The measurements are 56-18-145: a 56mm lens width (wide), an 18mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 145mm temples (standard length). The wide lens width means this frame is noticeably larger than average glasses, while the 18mm bridge provides a typical fit across the nose for frames of this size. Compare the 56mm lens width to your current glasses to determine if this frame will be larger or smaller on your face.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the PE541?
It comes in one size, 56-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the PE541 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
